Adult Education

Sunday School is not just for the kids. Growing in our faith relationship with God is a life-long endeavor. In the last year or two, there have been more than a few times I've thought, "we never learned that in Sunday School." Think of the "S.S" as "Soul Sustenance."

Adult education classes meet in the Commons Area in the Lower Level. The Sunday morning classes cover a variety of fascinating topics.

Pastor Paul Lindau will be having a "Parables" Adult Education series beginning Sunday, April 13th at 9:40am. The parables of Jesus have too often been used as simple stories with a moral attached at the close. Not so. Jesus used the parables to help us find out what life in the kingdom of God is all about and how we are to apply them to our own lives. Here is the weekly schedule for the "Parables" class.

April 13th - The Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin - Luke 15:1-10

April 27th - The Two Lost Sons - Luke 15:11-31

May 4th - The Unjust Manager - Luke 16:1-8

May 11th - The Judge and the Widow - Luke 18:1-8

There will also be four evening sessions added for those unable to attend the Sunday morning Adult Forum hour.

April 15th ~ 6:30pm - 8:00pm

April 29th ~ 6:30pm - 8:00pm

May 6th ~ 6:30pm - 8:00pm

May 13th ~ 6:30pm - 8:00pm
